Blessings Friend. Today is a new day so let us give thanks.

Have you ever had a time in your life when you missed out on doing something because you were not willing to drop everything at a moment's notice? To step out of your comfort zone to experience an opportunity that may have blessed your life and those around you.

Friends we are living in a time when this world will continue on the path of destruction and there are many people not prepared for what is up ahead of us. The calm before the storm.

When Jesus called His disciples to go with Him on His Ministry it wasn’t because He needed them but because He wanted them to be a WITNESS to all He was about to do. Jesus also knew the day was coming that His life would be TAKEN by this WORLD and He knew his disciples would be READY and TRAINED to carry the MESSAGE to the WORLD that JESUS is the SON of GOD and our SAVIOR. Jesus gave them priesthood authority to preach the gospel and HEAL the SICK,                                                                                                           transforming hearts.

Would you be as quick to drop everything as the disciples did? Not knowing where you would be going, how you would provide for food and clothing or where you would rest your head each night. They had no contract for this work, no pay, no retirement plan, and no benefits but they knew God was going to provide every need they would have to follow Him.

There are a lot of people who are lost and we have a window of opportunity to get busy and share the gospel message before it is too late. May we all listen to God’s voice and be obedient to what He is asking each of us to do. Your family and friends may thank you one day in Heaven for loving you so much that they knew they had to share the truth with you.

So let’s not get tired of doing good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessings if we don’t give up. (Galatians 6:9)

Just like the disciples, God’s work continues through those who will answer the call…….Always remember how dearly you are loved and that you are never alone.


As the person who has been chosen to write for our church, I take this as a great honour from God. I normally don't speak about myself on this page but this was part of my Testimony that really did start the beginning of a change in my life. I hope no one minds me being so personal but the TRUTH is if this Sister didn't say these words to me to help open my eyes I may have missed what God had planned for me. I pray this will bless someone else today.

The other day I saw this visual that was shared by another brother and it was such a powerful picture I wanted to share it. I can totally relate to this picture because I had something similar happen to me almost eleven years ago.

I remember I was complaining to someone about how upset I was with this couple we had gone to a concert with. It was their turn to be the designated driver for our trip home (meaning they wouldn’t drink so we could get home safely). It didn’t turn out the way I had planned and for every drink I had, they had one too. I remember worrying the whole way home if we would arrive alive or would there be some consequences to these bad decisions I had made?

I will never forget what this individual said to me and I will always be eternally grateful because it made me take a look in the mirror at myself. The question was planted in my heart and mind that day with these words; “ Aren't you just as bad as them if you were not able to drive? My defence was, “ Yes, I guess but it was my turn to let go and drink." The response given back was life-changing. “Well, maybe that’s what the whole problem is. In TRUTH, no one should have so much to drink that they are not able to drive. It’s just not responsible.

Did these words cut deep and strike me as a JUDGING comment? Yes, it hurt at the time and the thoughts of anger could have begun to rise up within me, but when I looked myself in the mirror and asked God if there any truth to what this person just said to me, He revealed it was time for me to CHANGE.

I thank God that someone was willing to SPEAK some truth into my LIFE and to SEE myself as I truly was. I often think about what could have happened if I had refused to listen and accept this criticism? Whoever stubbornly, refuses to accept criticism will suddenly be destroyed beyond recovery. Proverbs 29:1

Real friends will speak the truth to you because they are genuine and truly care for you. So the next time you are feeling judged be sure to ask God if there is was any truth in what is being SHARED with you. In the end, it is only HIS voice you need to LISTEN to but you WILL be thankful for that kind of friend in your life!!!

As we are approaching the Christmas season our MESSAGE to the world is about LOVE and HOPE but have you ever given much thought about GIVING and RECEIVING?


A few years ago I had an experience and I will always be so grateful for the LESSON this person taught me through their WORDS.  After we had finished lunch they insisted on picking up the bill.  It was hard for me to receive and I really wanted to pay for my own lunch. These were the words that changed how I SAW things and about being WILLING to RECEIVE when someone wants to BLESS us.   “When you won’t accept a gift that someone is trying to bless you with, you are taking that JOY away from them.” 


Many times without us really understanding we may have trouble RECEIVING because we don’t feel WORTHY.  Other times when we try to GIVE the receiver may have trouble accepting from us because it would seem we don’t have much to give and they feel the COST is too high for us to PAY.


This Christmas how would you feel if someone refused to accept a GIFT from you that you had put a great deal of thought into and spent your hard-earned resources (your TIME invested)  to bless them with your gift?   Would you lose your peace and joy over that experience?  On the other hand what if you RECEIVE the gift with EXCITEMENT and APPRECIATION don’t you think that would PLEASE the person that was giving it to you? 


Friends it is the very same thing with Jesus.  He is trying to give you a FREE GIFT that costs HIM something of great value.  His LIFE!  He came into this world as a baby and has experienced the human realm so He understands what we are going through every day.  The hardships, the disappointment and that life can be very difficult.  So why would someone die for you?    He came, He lived, He died and He ROSE AGAIN and is coming back to lead us all home for ETERNITY.   This is His free gift to you and to me.  


So this Christmas will you be opening the FREE GIFT Jesus is trying to GIVE YOU?  Or will you reject Him saying you don’t want His gift? 

 

For God so loved the world that He sent His one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.  God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to SAVE the world through him.  There is no judgment against anyone who BELIEVES in him.  But anyone who does not believe in Him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.  And the judgment is based on this fact; God’s LIGHT came into the world, but people loved the darkness more than the light, for their actions were evil.  All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed.  But those who do what is right come to the light so others can SEE that they are doing what God wants.  

 John 3 16-21  


  WE pray that this Christmas will be the best one of your LIFE as you CHOOSE to ACCEPT  the greatest GIFT of all.  JESUS!!! 


May we never forget how much He loves us and that we are never alone.

Today is a question for all of us Christians. How are you doing with everything that is happening around you?

 Would your life display PEACE and CONTENTMENT in your daily walk or are you stuck in fear holding anger or bitterness in your heart about everything you are facing in this world? The truth is we should be READY for the days ahead but not only ready but WALKING with PEACE and FILLED with ANTICIPATION knowing our PASSPORT for HEAVEN has already been stamped and we have been fully vaccinated in the BLOOD of Jesus. No matter what comes God will give each one of us the strength to live out HIS WILL.
We should be excited for these days as we are watching the TRUTH of God’s WORD happening before our very eyes as we speak. For many of us, we carry a heaviness because the excitement isn’t there but instead grief. Some may ask why is that so? Because our hearts long for our friends, family and even people we have not met yet to know Jesus personally. For their Salvation of ETERNITY. That God will grant us more time.

God told us in the end times there would be great TRIBULATIONS but to be of GOOD CHEER!!!
As we are approaching the Christmas Season may we never forget the REASON we HONOR this TIME is because of the PROMISE of a little baby that would come to SAVE the WORLD. The virus that we are all infected with is that very SIN that He wants to SAVE US from. The virus of SIN is 100% ETERNAL DEATH RATE. Many want life to return back to normal but it will never be normal again just like the BIBLE shares. None of us know the hour, the day, the month or the year that He will come for those who have accepted Him. If you are an unbeliever or don't believe it could possibly be in your lifetime (just like past generations have said) we must ask this question; When in the history of the world did we ever see something so evil that involved the whole planet?

For a child is born to us, a son is given to us. The government will rest on his shoulders. And he will be called; Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace. His government and its peace will never end. He will rule fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David for all eternity. The passionate commitment of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies will make this happen! Isaiah 9:6

Friends, if you know you have DONE what God has asked of you then you can REST in your SOUL. For it is only God who can change a person's HEART and the best thing you can do is to continue PRAYING for those you LOVE. Take TIME and ENJOY the Presence of HIS LOVE, PEACE and COMFORT with an everlasting JOY in your HEARTS.
Always remember how dearly you are loved and that you are never alone.

There is a new DANGER on the RISE in our lives and if we are not careful we can easily become out of BALANCE. We all have to WATCH for this and know WHERE WE ARE on the road. Are you to the right, to the left, or in the center on the yellow line? If we don’t want to know anything about a subject and aren’t willing to LEARN from it, this can cause harm to us. On the other hand, there is another spectrum where we can be too consumed to read and learn everything we can on a subject. In truth, we have to meet somewhere on the yellow line on the road of life. So perhaps the best thing we can do is dig deeper into our Bibles for guidance, understanding and peace.

Every believer needs to know there is a Spiritual battle happening around us today. Most of us can say we have had a disagreement with someone in the past 2 years or at least don’t see eye to eye on the events in our world. The truth is the reality behind PHYSICAL CONFLICT is FIRST a SPIRITUAL PROBLEM. The enemy will never bother people who aren’t making an IMPACT for Christ but on the ONES who are.

Every time we give in and COMPROMISE our SPIRITUAL STANDARDS we are giving ground to the enemy’s work around us and in our lives. We as believers must stand our ground on God’s WORD to always let Him be our GUIDE and our PROTECTOR.

If you have experienced an attack from another human being it’s warfare that starts in the spiritual realm until it comes out into the physical. We must look beyond the person and recognize it’s from satan. It was pride that changed angels into devils; it is humility that makes men as angels. Augustine.

“A SPIRITUAL BATTLE is meant to DIVIDE people. So we believers must put on the Armour of God every day and do our best no matter what God may ALLOW into our lives. Some will be TESTS, to SEE if we are doing better with PATIENCE. Other times it is to see if we are RELYING on God for HIS STRENGTH and WISDOM so we don’t try to do things in our own strength. He could also be teaching us WHERE to GO and where NOT TO GO. When to SPEAK and when to stay SILENT. Small tests are preparing us for big ones.

Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your ground putting on the belt of truth and the body armor of God’s righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from the Good News, so that you will be fully prepared. In addition to all of these, hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrow of the devil. Put on salvation as your helmet and take the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God. Ephesians 6:13-17
We can REST knowing we have done as we were asked and leave the rest in God’s hands.

Today this message is all about ENCOURAGEMENT and HOPE.

What can we share with others during the hard times of life to STRENGTHEN them and offer help to keep moving forward? Sometimes we may question how God could possibly be moving in our situations or trials of life when it’s so painful. Many things will begin to happen around us that may confuse us but we know that while we are here SERVING others we are the HANDS and FEET of JESUS doing His work. We can all become His ripple effect in someone’s life by sharing how we made it through each trial in our lives with God’s help. Our testimony will give others that same HOPE to ENDURE better days to come.

You may see a friend or a loved one who is going through a hard time right now due to a health crisis, the loss of a loved one, a financial burden, a division in a relationship or even the spirit of darkness falling over someone that is suffering from depression. We are to be God’s LIGHT in a dark world and we all NEED it more now than ever before. To CONNECT to God the PASSWORD is PRAYER.

There is a time for everything in this LIFE and may we all draw comfort knowing that God is WORKING all things TOGETHER for the GOOD of those who LOVE HIM. Perhaps this SEASON in your LIFE is meant to DRAW you CLOSER to God so HE can CARRY You THROUGH your difficulties. Friends know that each one of us has a special PURPOSE for a specific moment in TIME to help lead others to the TRUTH and to show them the ONE who truly LOVES them with HIS AMAZING GRACE. May His Promises in His WORD BRING all of us to the place that He has for His WILL to be done.

For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.
A time to be born and a time to die.
A time to plant and a time to harvest.
A time to kill and a time to heal.
A time to tear down and a time to build up.
A time to cry and a time to laugh.

Today we are facing something in this WORLD that we have never SEEN before in History. It is not happening just in one Country but it is WORLDWIDE. The Bible warns us of this TIME that is COMING and He also gives a WARNING about a coming DIVISION.

I have come to set the world on fire, and I wish it were already burning! I have a terrible baptism of suffering ahead of me, and I am under a heavy burden until it is accomplished. Do you think I have come to bring peace to the earth? No, I have come to divide people against one another! From now on families will be split apart, three in favor of me, and two against- or two in favor and three against. ‘Father will be divided against son and son against father; mother against daughter, and daughter against mother; mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law. Luke 12: 49-53

But when the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit upon his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered in his presence, and he will separate the people as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep at his right hand and the goats at his left.”Then the king will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, Inherit the Kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me, I was in prison, and you visited me.” Then these righteous ones will reply, ‘Lord, when did we ever see you hungry and feed you? Or thirsty and give you something to drink? Or a stranger and show you hospitality? Or naked and give you clothing? When did we ever see you sick or in prison and visit you? And the King will say, ‘ I tell you the truth when you did it to one of the least of these my brothers and sister, you were refusing to help me!” Then the King will turn to those on the left and say, Away with you, you cursed ones into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his demons. For I was hungry, and you didn’t feed me, I was thirsty, and you didn’t give me a drink. I was a stranger, and you didn’t invite me into your home. I was naked, and you didn’t give me clothing. I was sick in prison, and you didn’t visit me. Then they will reply, Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you? “And he will answer, “I tell you the truth when you refused to help the least of these brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me. And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life.” Mark 25:31-46

Jesus has revealed that his COMING will result in conflict because he demands a RESPONSE from each of us. He tells us families may be split apart when some choose to follow him and others refuse to. So we should be asking ourselves, am I willing to follow Jesus no matter the cost? Freedom is a gift that Jesus offers each one of us at our own FREE WILL. He is demanding a choice of LOYALTY and COMMITMENT to FINISH THE JOB SET BEFORE YOU. Each one of us has a special task but many things may take us off course so we must be WATCHING and LISTENING with our EYES looking up for His guidance to move forward. 

When we serve our whole life for Jesus we will be filled with His Peace to ENDURE what is ahead and when we OBEY we are already living in FREEDOM. He WILL always PROVIDE for every NEED you will ever have when you learn to TRUST HIM with your whole HEART.

But for you who fear MY NAME, the SUN of RIGHTEOUSNESS will RISE with HEALING in His wings.” And you will go FREE, leaping with JOY like caves let out to pasture. Malachi 4:2

Today are we recognizing the SERIOUSNESS of what is happening in this world? Can we SEE it is the biggest WAKE-UP call that God has allowed Worldwide for this specific moment in TIME. 


There are so many WARNINGS in the Bible not to let our hearts grow COLD towards God and not to start living our lives as the world does. During this season how have you managed to stay close to God.? ARE you still attending church in some form, staying connected with the Body of Christ and are in the WORD of God everyday?  To be prepared for the difficulties of Life we must be honest with ourselves.  When we grow cold it becomes a DANGEROUS place to be and Scripture says,  The Lord has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts- so that their eyes cannot see and their hearts cannot understand, and they cannot turn to me and have me heal them. 

 

What are some of the warning signs to watch for that our hearts are slowly turning cold towards God? 


Spiritual hardening begins with SELF SUFFICIENCY, putting security in one’s self and your own self satisfaction.  This will LEAD to further hardening of the HEART.  


Disobeying God and having too much prosperity can lead us to take God’s BLESSINGS for GRANTED and can cause us to feel they are OWED to us.


REBELLION and being DISCONTENT.  SUFFERING or DISCOMFORT can create an ATTITUDE that BLAMES God.  


Rejecting a deserved REBUKE or  rejecting God’s gifts for HIS USE  may harden our hearts.   REFUSING to LISTEN can lead to a LOSS of SPIRITUAL HEARING. 


 Failing to RESPOND- when God is TELLING you to do something and you REFUSE to follow his GUIDANCE.  This will only produce an INABILITY to OBEY.  Sin often takes us farther than we want to go and sometimes our DISOBEDIENCE is the CONSEQUENCE of REBELLION that is our own punishment. 


When the Church, God’s FAMILY can show JOY in our SUFFERING and work TOGETHER in unity for harmony and have the same mind as Jesus with HIS PURPOSE in our hearts we WILL show HIS LOVE. Our goal as Christians is to guide others to the ONE true HEALER of their SOUL.  You will never get a rainbow in life without first facing the storm.  Friends we should ask ourselves this question,


And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?  Mark 8:36

Those who love their life in this world will lose it.  Those who care nothing for their life in this world will keep it for Eternity.  John 12:25 


Be encouraged that God loves you and is CALLING YOU to come back for a REVIVAL in your HEART.  His loving embrace WILL GIVE YOU the STRENGTH to ENDURE the days ahead.     Always remember He will never leave nor forsake you if you will ASK FOR FORGIVENESS and INVITE Him to RENEW your HEART.   Have a blessed day and you are ALL invited to join us Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. at New Life Community Christian Church at 32 Robert Street in Thornton next door to the Firehall.

With so much devastation and chaos happening in the world we all need to decide where we are in our FAITH and who we are TRUSTING in.

A visual can sometimes help us to know where we are. Let’s look at the movie, Titanic. Yes it was only a movie but it is based on a TRUE story but perhaps looking at it from this perspective WILL help us to SEE things a little differently.

As you read this story STOP and ASK yourself which person am I in the illustration. First, we have a powerful man who was extremely wealthy at that time. He wanted to push the ship full steam ahead to make a headline to show his success. His POWER and WEALTH made him feel undefeated and more important than anyone else. That is Until they hit the iceberg.

When the Captain breaks the NEWS of what the fate would be on that dreadful night, This man who had built the ship went right into DENIAL. “Well, the ship can’t sink!” The captain replied with “Yes, it CAN and it WILL!” The Captain becomes the MESSENGER of what’s ahead of them and it’s very disturbing and dark news to DELIVER as well as for those who would receive the message.

Right away the people down below are locked away from the upper decks. The people up above feel they are more ENTITLED to SAFETY because of their class in this LIFE. They are wealthier than those down below and better educated. They caused the SEPARATION and DIVISION based on their own judgement believing they are better than those down below.

Those below have LOST HOPE as they cannot get out of their situation. Some start to PRAY, Some lie down beside their loved one on a bed HUGGING while they say their good-bye’s and some try to SING their children to sleep before the water level will end their lives. It is only a handful of people that WON'T GIVE UP and FIGHT to make a way POSSIBLE to get to the deck ABOVE.

When they arrive on the upper deck they SEE how bad things really are. Some people are throwing themselves overboard right away instead of SUFFERING and WAITING to SEE what is going to happen. Another group of people are helping to get the children and women on the lifeboats to SAFETY.

With PANIC and FEAR in their EYES, some have CHOSEN to grab a chair and sit and WAIT for the END to COME. Another group of men begin to play music to COMFORT people while they are facing death.

At one point a man is trying to bargain his way onto a lifeboat, the very man who caused this dreadful night. He is trying to hand a crew member all his money so he can be SAVED. Pretty profound words from the worker on this boat. “YOUR MONEY CAN’T SAVE YOU any more than it can save me.” He allows him to get on the boat to safety. His fate would come later when he could not live with what he had done to all these people and took his own life months later.

Then we have those who wait until the boat is going down trying to stay on as long as possible. They HOPE they will be able to FIND something they can grab a hold of to stay above the icy water until HELP COMES their way to SAFETY. There are only a few pulled from the water that lived but they had much more to DO in this WORLD and their STORY would be told to ENCOURAGE others NOT to GIVE UP no matter how hopeless things may look in their own life.

So who are you in this story? Are you caught up in your resources and power? Are you the messenger of NEWS going ( North, East, West & South) sharing what people may not want to hear? Are you already discouraged with life and feel like giving up too soon? Are you the one who is ENCOURAGING people by COMFORTING them with the GIFTS that GOD has given you? Are you the person who is falling into the icy water but REFUSES to give up because you know you have much more to DO before your TIME is done on this earth? 

 Friends, the TRUTH is we must be PREPARED for the next big STORM coming. It’s not IF but WHEN because it’s coming!!! So who are you going to put your trust in? Will you be Brother and Sister sharing HOPE?

I am leaving you with a gift - peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid. John 14:27

So enclosing have these past 18 months brought you closer to Jesus? Have you been learning to TRUST him with all your HEART and MIND, not leaning on your own understanding? Friends God promised if you will sincerely CRY OUT to him you will be just like the woman, children and those that SURVIVE the icy waters because our SAVIOR will SAVE YOU. Do not be people who have no HOPE. Your HOPE is not in things of this world but in ETERNITY.

Search for the Lord and for His STRENGTH; continually SEEK Him. Psalm 105:4

Have you ever watched a movie and it’s holding you in suspense as to how the story is going to end? You have been given many different facts and you think you have an idea how it may end but it takes a totally new twist at the end of the movie and changes the whole outcome or the belief you may have once had.

With all we see happening in the world it can be exhausting because we are all hearing something different. Perhaps Noah in his day felt the same way. He was trying to share what the Lord had told him but no one was willing to LISTEN. They thought he was being a fool and they went on living their life as they pleased. This went on for many, many years that Noah tried to reach people so that destruction wouldn’t take their life. Unfortunately, they all died because they would not listen.  

In truth, life is always moving and will never return to what we once had. For many believers, it can be painful and it may cost us something, in the end, to stay FIRM on the PATH that God has CHOSEN for us. What is truly important is that we work to maintain PEACE and not allow DIVISION to separate us from God’s work. We must keep our eyes on Jesus and keep looking up for DIRECTIONS as to WHERE we are to GO, WHO we are to SEE, and SHARE what GOD has given us to DO.

I will listen to what God the Lord says. Psalm 85:8
His ways are always the best!!!

If you are willing to LISTEN to God and follow through in OBEDIENCE to His CALLING you WILL never be disappointed. It may not always be easy but when you are in God’s WILL, you will carry His unbelievable PEACE, JOY and LOVE. Our world could surely use more of that today.

Today I want to share a few thoughts about a topic that not many of us like to talk about. Death is something we would sooner pass by without a thought but as we all know we will all have our own time of physical death in this world. None of us know the day, hour, month or year our time will come. Why is it some have slow suffering pain while PREPARING to LEAVE earth and others are RECEIVED quickly with little WARNING and no signs?

Friends each one of us has plans for today, tonight, tomorrow, and the future years ahead of us but have we made our plans for the RESERVATION for something even more important? Each one of us can have A PROMISE of ETERNITY living in our hearts today while making our journey home to Heaven. When we know where we are GOING we are ALREADY LIVING in Eternity from that MOMENT we ACCEPT the FREE GIFT and our LIFE is set SECURED FOREVER.

When we watch those we love, some of us will have a chance to say and do things that need to be done before they leave, others will have things they wished they had more time to say and do but we can truly be at PEACE when we know we will SEE our loved ones again in Heaven. It’s what keeps us going the promise of a better tomorrow with no more pain, suffering and tears. We have our EYES FIXED on HOPE for that REUNION.

For some of you reading this, you were taught about Jesus as a young child and He BECAME a PART of YOU then, for others who are reading this maybe you never heard about Jesus and you are for the first time in your life as an adult. God WILL never force us to RECEIVE HIS FREE GIFT of SALVATION because He wants you to RECEIVE HIM at your own FREE WILL.
When our time on earth is over let’s pray that we have all made our RESERVATIONS for HEAVEN so we can ALL BE TOGETHER once again.

For those of you reading this who have lost a loved one and are not certain of where they stood on their faith journey, hold tightly to HOPE. No one knows another person’s heart, only Christ who has placed ETERNITY in each of us knows. It’s a personal decision that some are more private about while others are opened to sharing more freely.

From Eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of My hand. No one can undo what I have done. Isaiah 43:13

For the families that are grieving today or preparing for grief in the future with a sick loved one may you always remember how much Jesus loves you and may He be your STRENGTH, PEACE and COMFORT during the difficult season of LIFE. May the LOVE of CHRIST live in YOUR HEART and may you FEEL HIS LOVE THROUGH the FACES of HIS CHILDREN, your family and friends at your side.

Are you going through something right now that is hard for you to understand why it’s happening? Maybe it feels like things are falling apart or every time you turn the corner you only see another problem coming. Perhaps you have been given an important assignment from God and the people around you don’t understand. Maybe you are growing tired of all the hard work and the criticism that comes with the job or the decisions you make. 

 Friends when God gives you a special job it will never be easy but if you continue HIS COURSE He will GIVE you the STRENGTH and the ABILITY to finish what HE has started.

Each one of us is going through something different in this life. Some are having relationship issues, some have lost loved ones, another person it may be a financial burden or perhaps you are suffering from a health crisis or an addiction that is taking you further into the darkness. If God is GUIDING your steps don’t let others take you off course because they don’t like what you are doing. We are not in this world to please people but rather to PLEASE GOD. Sometimes God uses our pain to HELP others to SEE things from a NEW PERSPECTIVE to give them greater HOPE for their FUTURE.

God will always BLESS OBEDIENCE and when you stay the course He has you on you will have the JOY of letting His LIGHT SHINE to a world that is looking for something or someone to help them.

As a Christian some good questions to ask yourself are these; Does my life reflect God’s love to a hurting world? Does my life attract people to Jesus or push them farther away? Do they see peace and contentment being lived out in my life? Do I share something they want to have? I am willing to suffer for them? Are you shining HIS LIGHT and LOVE UNCONDITIONALLY?

This life is all about the journey as none of us has it all figured out. We are ALL living one day at a TIME and RISING UP each NEW DAY like the SUN (SON) with the hopes of doing a little BETTER than we did yesterday and becoming what we were created to be.

Today, I want to share some encouragement. Perhaps you are struggling with your health or a loved one, a broken or strained relationship, a financial burden or you have lost your HOPE and PEACE. Perhaps you are finding it hard to just cope with your anxiety and fears of what tomorrow may hold for you.

I love it when people share things and it becomes an answered PRAYER in your TIME of need. My sister-in-law sent me a beautiful picture the morning I had been crying out in prayer about something I was struggling with. Her picture was that encouragement I needed. My tears dried as quickly as they started because they REMINDED me of God’s PROMISES with the RAINBOW. He used that MESSAGE to Moses after the great flood as a reminder of His PROMISES to the world.

When we take our focus off God and get caught up in the worldly realm we will begin to sink but when we fix our EYES on JESUS we will be LIFTED UP!!!

When you understand HOW MUCH GOD LOVES YOU and KNOW that HE SEES YOU, that’s when you can REST, TRUSTING He will cause everything to work together for His good for those who love Him. He hears every prayer big or small and he catches each one of your tears. When life gets really hard, it could be that is the most powerful gift you could receive because in TRUTH it is STRENGTHENING your FAITH MUSCLES.

So the next time you are feeling overwhelmed over anything you are going through don’t forget to PRAY about EVERYTHING and NEVER GIVE UP because things may be ANSWERED when you least expect it.
Perhaps God may USE YOU to REMIND someone He is with them too with a kind word, a picture or even a hug of encouragement. Keep your eyes on Him and you will never lose your WAY…….

No one has ever imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.

Do you remember when you were a child and your parents would discipline you with the rules of their home? Were you ever given a second chance at something even though you had messed up? Our parents set rules and disciplined us because they loved us and wanted us to learn right from wrong, and truth from lies. They had our best interest at heart.

It’s no different than God. He has given us the Bible as a blueprint for how to live our lives so that we cannot be lead astray. The Lord is like a Father to His children, tender and compassionate to those who fear Him. Psalm 103:13

Then Jesus turned to the crowd and said, “When you see clouds beginning to form in the west, you say, Here comes a shower. And you are right. When the south wind blows, you say, Today will be a scorcher and it is right. You fools, you know how to interpret the weather signs of the earth and sky, but you don’t know how to interpret the present times. Why can’t you decide for yourself what is right? Luke 12:54-57

There will come a day when we must make our own choice as to what we BELIEVE is the TRUTH and what are lies?

Work hard to enter the narrow door to God’s Kingdom for many will try to enter but will fail. When the Master of the house has locked the door, it will be too late. You will stand outside knocking and pleading, “Lord, open the door for us! But he will reply “I don’t know you or where you come from. Luke 13:24

God made a promise to help us if we ask Him. He said “ I have come down to rescue them. Exodus 3:8

We all have free WILL to make our own choices in this life so will you allow HIM to RESCUE you from something in your life you are STRUGGLING with? Perhaps an addiction, a health crisis, loneliness, forgiveness, a broken relationship or you just need to have more PEACE and JOY in your LIFE?

Friends we have been given a second chance during this lock-down to be set free. So the question we should ask ourselves is, are you free?

With all that’s going on in our world who are you putting your TRUST in?

We see more people who are being DIVIDED today within the circle of LIFE. Between family members, friends and even people we don’t really even know.

There is a warning given in the Bible in 1 Thessalonians 2: 9-12 that says, This man will come to do the work of Satan with counterfeit power and sign and miracles. He will use every kind of evil DECEPTION to DESTRUCTION because they REFUSE to LOVE and ACCEPT the TRUTH that would SAVE THEM. So God will cause them to be greatly deceived and they will BELIEVE these LIES. Then they will be condemned for enjoying evil rather than believing the truth.
Friends, it’s not what you know or what you think you know, but it’s who you know.

When we are living in FEAR it BLINDS US. Jesus is all about the TRUTH and where there is TRUTH there is REAL LOVE. Love wants things to be EXPOSED so that HEALING can take place in the lives of those who CHOOSE Him.

Such love has no fear because PERFECT LOVE expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced perfect love. 1 John 4:18
Today take a few moments to just ponder in your OWN HEART what is it that Jesus is trying to get your attention about? The TRUTH is He loves YOU more than anything in this world and wants you to FIND YOUR WAY towards the right PATH that LEADS you to EVERLASTING LIFE. He promises something this world cannot offer you and it’s UNCONDITIONAL LOVE, ACCEPTANCE and a feeling of PEACE like nothing you have ever experienced before. It’s pretty simple He is calling you to “COME TO HIM and let Him HEAL all your WOUNDS.

This a story about a woman who was sitting on her dock at her cottage reading a book, enjoying the sunshine when a gust of wind picked up her socks and blew them into the water.  She quickly jumped up WITHOUT a THOUGHT and went to grab the socks when she watched in horror as her glasses went Kur plunk into the water.  She needed them to SEE for DISTANCE and thought she had them tucked safely on her shirt or at least she thought it was SAFE.


What was she going to do now that she was blind without her glasses?  While sharing her story she said she remembered saying a quick prayer hoping that she could retrieve them somehow if it was meant to be.  Her second request was ASKING what was it she was to SEE with her SPIRITUAL eyes now that she was physically blind?


When she made a split decision it cost her something from the CONSEQUENCES of that choice.   Without thought, she was trying to SAVE a $2 pair of socks and instead lost something of greater value being around $200.


In this world, we base things on what we SEE with our physical EYES happening around us but what happens when we start to use the LENS of FAITH we start to see DIFFERENTLY.  She knew her glasses were LOST sitting at the bottom of the lake.  She KNEW they were there even though she couldn’t see them.  Sometimes we will KNOW something NOT because we actually SEE it, in the physical world but because we are given SPIRITUAL EYES to see WHAT is really LOST.


In truth sometimes what we think is a more VALUABLE lesson can also be a DECEPTION. That split decision cost this woman more in the physical world because of money but she gained PERSPECTIVES that gave her an AWAKENING SPIRITUALLY.


The truth is you have to KNOW you are LOST before you can be FOUND.  So She was very thankful for the loss of her glasses because God knows if they will one day turn up on the end of a fishing line.  That’s what HOPE is something to LOOK FORWARD to, FOR THAT DAY THEY WILL BE FOUND.


Whether it is a $2 lesson or a $200 lesson if we are TEACHABLE it may give US a REVELATION about what we NEED to CHANGE or how we may SEE the WORLD differently.  These are great lessons that bring REAL LASTING CHANGE into a person’s HEART when they accept the GIFT OF LIFE.


We are all like those lost glasses just trying to FIND OUR WAY. Always be THANKFUL for each lesson that life is trying to teach you because it means GROWTH.  Most times in life with great LOSS brings us to a great REVELATION!!!


When he arrives, he will call together his friends and neighbors, saying “Rejoice with me because I have found my lost sheep. In the same way, there is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away!  Luke 15:6-7 


Our Spiritual CONDITION is far more important than our physical CONDITION and the REWARDS last FOREVER!!   Have a beautiful day and always remember how dearly you are loved and that you are never alone.

Today in our world so many people are struggling with life and all that is happening around us. Some people may not realize is we are truly in a Spiritual war between Good and Evil. You can get stuck not able to break away from Strongholds in your life that can cause illness of mind, body and spirit.

Jesus came to set people FREE from those in bondage but we have to acknowledge we need His help. The ones who want His help will OVERCOME what the enemy has taken away from them and God will make them WHOLE again.
Friends Scripture in God’s Word WARNS us of these things;
When you enter the land the Lord your God is giving you, be very careful not to imitate the detestable customs of the nations living there. For example, never sacrifice your son or daughter as a burnt offering. And do not let your people practice fortune-telling or use sorcery, or interpret omens, or engage in witchcraft, or cast spells, or function as mediums or psychics, or call forth the spirits of the dead. Anyone who does these things is detestable to the Lord. It is because the other nations have done these detestable things that the Lord you God will drive them out ahead of you. But you must be blameless before the Lord your God. The nations you are about to displace consult sorcerers and fortune-tellers, but the Lord your God forbids you to do such things. Deuteronomy 18:9-13
The truth is many people have unknowingly experimented in these things and have unknowingly OPENED doors into their Spirit. We can’t be set free from this if we will not ASK for FORGIVENESS and TURN from these things. Our minds can take in many things that are not from God and can make our lives so much harder. Everything we read, watch on TV/Movies or experience can bring unwanted things that may bring greater confusion and less peace in our lives and into our Spirit.
Friends, we are given WARNINGS in the Bible for our own PROTECTION but it’s up to only YOU if you will listen….Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. 1 Peter 5:6-9
Be encouraged if you were taken off course, Jesus LOVES you and WILL help GUIDE you onto the PATH of TRUTH. Jesus told them, “I am the way the truth and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. John 14:6 Come near to God, and God will come near to you. James 4:8 We can all give thanks that the Shepherd will leave the 100 lambs to go find that ONE LOST SOUL. If you were once lost you know how amazing it feels when you have been FOUND and if you are still LOST YOU can BE FOUND if you will only ASK!!!

Confess these WORDS out loud


Jesus, I invite You now into my heart to guide my life in truth and change me.  Forgive me for my past mistakes and help me to forgive those who have hurt me.  I pray that with Your help I can turn away from the things that are hurting me and making my life more difficult.  I want to HEAL, and I thank You that You love me right now unconditionally.

    Jesus, take the wheel of my LIFE and GUIDE me with Your Holy Spirit in all that I do and say.  I want my life to display Your love to everyone I meet.  I thank you for the free gift of Salvation You have given me today.  I believe Jesus died on the Cross for my sins and rose again.  I Believe in God the Father, Jesus His Son and the Holy Spirit.  I am your Child.  Amen

Today more than ever before people are feeling lost. They are seeking the Way, The Truth and the meaning of Life. WHAT is the truth? WHO knows the WAY? Who is the ONE that can give them this?

We are living in a new age where this world has people teaching false things that are taking people off course by being deceived by lies. It is creating a false sense of security that leaves many eventually feeling the same way they did before they started their quest. EMPTY and DEFEATED.

When we arrive here on earth we are BORN PHYSICALLY ALIVE but arrive SPIRITUALLY DEAD. That’s what our JOURNEY is all about FINDING our way before death comes so that we may be BORN AGAIN SPIRITUALLY. To be filled and completely ALIVE!!! To look forward to the next chapter of LIFE in HEAVEN.

This world has two forces working at all times in the Spirit World and in the Physical world around us. ONE is for GOOD the other is for evil. For so many of us, the darkness got a hold of us at a very young age and we believed the lies that we heard. Perhaps it was a parent, a teacher, a friend or a complete stranger that said something that has stuck with you in your mind throughout your life. Maybe an experience you went through has scarred you so deeply you can’t see HOW anything or ANYONE could ever take you out of the muck.

Ask yourself and be brutally honest with your answer. Are you feeling heaviness, confusion, torment and loneliness? Maybe you don’t feel like you belong or you feel unaccepted as you are. Do you feel unworthy of love? Many of us have felt this way and the truth is there may be some DOORS you UNKNOWINGLY have OPENED that have invited that darkness into your life? But there is the HOPE of being set free if you will simply shut these doors and start looking forward to the good that is coming in the FUTURE for your FREEDOM.

In John 8:36 it says; So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free

I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one can snatch them away from me. 
John 10:27

If you truly love yourself you will ACCEPT this free gift into your life. There is no financial cost it is absolutely FREE because Jesus loves you that much and you didn't choose HIM, He has chosen you. If you will accept His gift He will GUIDE you, HELP you, STRENGTHEN you, and LOVE you. He will do what no one else can do in our life and work through you giving you meaning and purpose for your life.

It’s pretty simple, He says; “COME TO ME”

Have you ever had someone try to share the Good News of Jesus with you? Maybe you have rolled your eyes and the thought went through your head, Oh my here we go again. Why do they keep sharing?

Are you someone who has left the path of God because of disappointment, pain, tired of waiting for something to change, or the loss of a loved one who meant the world to you? Do you feel like there is no way back? Are you angry with God?

Real friends will keep SHARING because they don’t want to see LOVED ONES LEFT BEHIND when life here is gone.
 They want to know they were obedient to share because they love you that much!!!

In the Bible, there is a warning that when people will NOT LISTEN or they IGNORE what God is trying to say to them individually, He may stop tapping on your shoulder. He will allow your heart to become harden and you will NOT be able to HEAR or SEE any longer. Why would God do that? I thought He was a God who never gives up on us?

In truth, if you were trying to show love to someone for many years and they kept rejecting you would you give up? Friends this should send a MESSAGE of WARNINGS into our SOUL.

In Isaiah 6:8-13 we read this; Then I heard the Lord asking “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?” I said “Here I am . Send me.” (9) And he said, “ Yes go, and say to this people, ‘Listen carefully but do not understand. Watch closely, but learn nothing (10) Harden the hearts of these people. Plug their ears and shut their eyes. That way they will not see with their eyes nor hear with their ears nor understand with their hearts and turn to me for healing. (11) Then I said, “Lord, how long will this go on?” He replied, “Until their towns are empty and their houses deserted, and the whole country is a wasteland; (12) until the Lord has sent everyone away, and the entire land of Israels lies deserted (13) If even a tenth - a remnant - survive it will be invaded again and burned. But as a terebinth or oak tree leaves a stump when it is cut down so Israel’s stump will be a Holy seed.

When will people actually start to listen? It will be after they have come to the END and had now where else to turn but to God. Please don’t wait too long because no one knows the DAY, HOUR or YEAR of His return.

 Instead of preparing for death in this world, we should be much more concerned about PREPARING for ETERNITY which is a much better INVESTMENT.

Friends just like this picture of the stump it may appear as if it was dead but it only takes a mustard SEED of FAITH for God to CHANGE your LIFE if you are WILLING to LISTEN, ASK for FORGIVENESS and let Him in the driver’s seat of your LIFE. He has a much better PLAN for you than you could ever make on your own because He truly LOVES YOU!!! Be Encouraged and know how dearly you are loved and that you are never alone.

Today let us ponder this question. Are you living your life today with a sense of PEACE? With everything happening around us, many people have anything but peace!!! They are feeling as if they are sinking in an ocean of hopelessness.

The TRUTH is when we keep our Focus on what we have in this LIFE and we are GRATEFUL for everything we have, it keeps us from complaining or wishing we had MORE.

 Complaining causes the door of negativity to enter into our MINDS. We begin to DOUBT and this weakens our FAITH muscles. The temptation of wanting more becomes even greater if we are not CAREFUL to DISCERN the WARNING SIGNS.

In Genesis 3 there is a similar story where satin has an encounter with Eve and uses his CLEVERNESS of DECEPTION to place DOUBT in her MIND. That doubt was that God was holding something back from her. Even though Eve was told by God she could eat off ANY tree in the garden except this one tree, she was OKAY with what He had GIVEN her. She was truly THANKFUL for all she did HAVE and was CONTENT.

Why did things change for Eve? The enemy (satan) came along and put DOUBT in her MIND by ASKING her a QUESTION. DOUBT opened the DOORWAY to DISOBEDIENCE and led her OFF the NARROW path onto the WIDE path that was leading her to DEATH without her REALIZING it. That is how very clever a LIE can SOUND if we are not CAREFUL to LISTEN to God’s VOICE and take His guidance above all other AUTHORITIES.

Friends today some VOICES will say you need to do one thing in order to be given something that you have lost.…… be wise in all your choices that you are not being DECEIVED because of the PROMISE of something BETTER. Be content with what you have NOW because as things are taken away it’s this very manipulation that satan's will USE to get people to DO WHAT HE WANTS to be done. People just want things to return to the way they once were and will do what ever that takes.

Doubt- will make you question God and His Goodness
Discouragement - makes you look at your problem and not God
Diversion- makes the wrong things seem right and ATTRACTIVE so that you will want them more than the RIGHT things.
Defeat- makes you feel like a failure so that you don’t even try
Delay- makes you put it off so it never gets done

Friends we all need to LISTEN to God’s voice but how? If you were at a party and the music was too loud to hear the person speaking to you, you would have two choices. You either leave the room and find a QUIET place or you TURN OFF the music so you can HEAR. It is the same with Jesus we need to be QUIET in ORDER to HEAR. Don’t be like Eve making a bad choice only to realize later what you have done wrong and then try to blame others or make excuses for your choices.

Take everything to God in PRAYER, LISTEN and WAIT. He WILL reveal the TRUTH and the WAY that is best for you.

My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” Psalm 27:8

Have you ever been on the receiving end of being judge by someone and it really hurt you? What if you are the person who is always pointing out another person’s flaws instead of encouraging them to do better or help them to SEE the good in themselves? When we ENCOURAGE others we are actually loaning them some COURAGE for some of the very things they may be lacking in their LIFE because they never HEARD them growing up.

This is one thing we should all ponder and answer only for ourselves. Have you allowed anything in your life to become an IDOL? Many people can’t SEE the idols in their life because they have slowly been DRIFTING AWAY into the worldly WAY.

So what things could become idols without us recognizing them? Could it be your job, chasing greater wealth, sports, your children or grandchildren, a spouse, family or a friend, recreational activities, some of many other excuses, your own pride or the worldly rules that have you left confused and you have lost your peace?

Friends each one of us makes our own CHOICES and we must be PREPARED to answer for our own decisions. God says in His word,

So why do you condemn another believer? Why do you look down on another believer? Remember we will all stand before the judgement seat of God. For the Scriptures say “As surely as I live, says the Lord every knee will bend to me and every tongue will confess and give Praise to God. Yes, each of us will give a personal account to God. Romans 12: 10-12

May each one of us answer this QUESTION with a CLEAR CONSCIENCE that we can live with when we face our MAKER and may our lives be a reflection of how Jesus wants us to live, loving others as HE did.

Today take some time to ponder…… What DISTRACTIONS have you ALLOWED into your life that has taken you FARTHER AWAY from Christ?

Today as we are WATCHING many things around us unfold let us PONDER on a thought for a moment.

How can we as Christian make good decisions that we can live with that will leave a POSITIVE effect on those around us today and for the future? 

 When we know it’s time to take a STAND for TRUTH even if it means the PATH could be very difficult and maybe lonely.

In truth, we must have a clear conscience before God and that is the only ONE we should truly be thinking about. This is a HUGE matter and RESPONSIBILITY if we are living for God’s Will to be done. Some would say many churches have gone to SLEEP or are even DEAD but there is a pulse below the ground and now it is TIME for the great WAKE-UP CALL and a REVIVAL HARVEST!!!

There’s teaching not long ago that said many Christians have allowed their conscience towards God to become dull, wounded, weak and many we are even ignoring HIS NUDGES when they come. Why have so many turned from HIS TRUTH? Perhaps it’s easier to go along with what the world says but in TRUTH this will only lead to more pain and destruction.

 Friends we have lost our way at some point in our lives but God is Good and a great Shepherd who wants HIS CHILDREN to COME BACK to HIM.

Friends STOP and Ponder this thought for a moment. What if the parents of MOSES had allowed the King’s instructions to have every boy under the age of two killed. What if Moses’ mother didn’t take a stand for her baby and hide him for three months until she would safely send him down the river in a basket to be SAVED. His mother knew there was something SPECIAL about her son. Her OBEDIENCE was what she had to do in order to live in PEACE.

FOLLOWING God and His guidance and not the world’s way saved a whole nation because Moses was there to lead them out of Egypt many years later. Without the OBEDIENCE of his mom, many would have died but instead MANY LIVES were SAVED.

You may have to take a stand and be that ONE PASTOR, ONE CHURCH, ONE PERSON or ONE FAMILY that is WILLING to take a STAND and set an EXAMPLE for those around you. The TRUTH is many times God will use ONE to LEAD the WAY for others in FAITH causing a RIPPLE effect.

There will be times that we must listen to God above people in order for God’s WILL to be accomplished. The big question is this; are WE asking God to show us HIS WAY and HIS WILL?

If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. James 1:5

In the end, God only wants the very best for all His Children so always remember you may have a CALLING that God is asking you to STEP UP and ALLOW HIM to USE you. When you know that you are in the WILL of God there is no better PLACE TO BE.

Blessings Friend. Today is a new day so let us give thanks. This story is being shared hoping it will have people STOP and PONDER on these WORDS.
A couple of years ago a STORY was SHARED by an RCMP officer who felt compelled to share his story. He did this to REVEAL how some of his choices during his career as an officer would later come back to haunt him causing him terrible depression and anxiety after he had retired.

He had no idea why he was suffering these symptoms. After he went to a physiologist to get some HELP what he would LEARN about himself would be LIFE-CHANGING taking him in a totally NEW direction for his RETIREMENT.

Why did this happen? In truth, it was because he ASKED a QUESTION wanting to know WHY this was happening to him at this particular TIME in his LIFE.

What the doctor told him was very HARD to HEAR but it set this man FREE from the health alignments it had been causing him. He was one of the officers doing his job with the orders he took from the AUTHORITIES in CONTROL of his job. In his EYES he was only doing what he was told to do in order to fulfill his performance. Many officers would later suffer the deep effects of the following instruction even though DEEP within they knew what was happening was WRONG.

This man and many others were told to take children away from their families by FORCE, to live in Residential schools away from their families. To break these children from their heritage. Many GENERATIONS would be affected by these DECISIONS made by people who were AFRAID of taking a STAND for what was TRUE and what was the RIGHT THING TO DO.

Yes taking a stand could possibly mean losing their jobs but they would have GAINED their OWN PEACE for standing for the TRUTH and their own INTEGRITY to do the RIGHT thing that their CONSCIENCE could LIVE with. MONEY and POWER will always try to take people OFF COURSE.

As it turns out he made choices in ignorance not meaning to cause harm to anyone but it would later bring him to his PURPOSE. Now this man chooses to be a PART of the SOLUTION for these Indigenous people who are trying to HEAL from the past.

Standing for TRUTH will ALWAYS COST you something but the real REWARDS will be the CHOICES you can LIVE with that help you to hold your PEACE within your deepest part of your being. Your SOUL.

Friends, asking questions is not a conspiracy but brings WISDOM leading to KNOWLEDGE so you can be DISCERNING what is going to the best decision for you as an individual. The truth always sets you free and leads you in the right direction!!!

Remember, it is a sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it. James 4:17

More people will follow the wide path than taking the narrow one but you could be an EXAMPLE to someone around you who NEEDS that truth SHOWN to them. Be a LIGHT in a dark world and be ENCOURAGED all is being SEEN by the ONE ABOVE!!! The battle is not yours to fight just stay OBEDIENT and watch the VICTORY that is coming!!!

Today we see so many things happening around us that are causing people to lose their peace. God never promised life would be easy but He does promise to be with us until the day He comes back for His church. Changes are coming and we must be ready to stay OBEDIENT to what we are being asked to do as His Children but WILL there be a cost?
Someone this week shared some words that were very profound and it was; With discernment comes division. A person who seeks to be discerning must be willing to suffer the effects of this division. It will divide not only a believer from an unbeliever, but it may even divide a discerning believer from one who is undiscerning. It will separate the mature from the immature, the naive from the prudent.
These are very strong WORDS and we should not take them too lightly. God’s moral Will is that many will be saved. To have things made right between you and Him. As you are reading this it could be you have fallen away on the wide path over time and He is calling you to COME BACK to Him. Perhaps you have never known Jesus and the LIFE He came to give you but you are feeling a small nudge on your shoulder to COME TO Him. Friends the LOVE God has for you is indescribable and He wants us all to FOLLOW the NARROW path that will lead to ETERNAL LIFE. This starts the minute you invite Him into your heart and you WILL SEE things much different.
He will feed His flock like a shepherd. He will carry the lamb in his arms holding them close to His heart. Isaiah 40:31
We are God’s handiwork and He has equipped us to contribute to His Kingdom by being a living WITNESS to the HOPE and JOY of the Life we have in Him. Be encouraged that REVERENCE to RESTORATION leads to FORGIVENESS, restoring LOVE and JOY to ALL WHO CHOSE HIM. It’s time for His FAMILY to RISE UP to YOUR CALLING!!!

Have you been struggling with something in your life and have become frustrated? Often times when you experience frustration many people don’t realize it’s an attack from darkness. Things may not be EASY but they are POSSIBLE when you keep your EYES on the one who RENEWS your MIND and your THOUGHTS.

If you don’t allow God to TRANSFORM your mind and thoughts you can get out of balance OPENING the door to despair.

So how do you keep your mind in a good place? We are taught in God’s WORD “You do not have because you do not ask. James 4:2

Is it really that simple? I can ask God to RENEW and REFRESH my mind with good thoughts and ASK to have a better ATTITUDE for whatever you may be facing. Whether it be a health crisis, a financial burden, a broken relationship or something special you have been given to do.

We are transformed when we ALLOW God to CHANGE the WAY we THINK and then we begin to SEE things from God’s perspective.

NEVER GIVE UP and KNOW that God will always SUPPLY everything you NEED. When you ask for Jesus to help you, He will SEND someone to ENCOURAGE you through that health struggle. To provide a BLESSING to you for a need you have, or someone will come along to become a BRIDGE between a broken relationship. To help RECONCILE and HEAL what was taken. If it’s more strength you need God will SUPPLY that too. He is the ONE to get you to the finish line.

Keep going because more than anything Jesus loves you and wants to SHOW you what happens when you TRUST HIM for every need. If you are obedient in the SMALL things God is FAITHFUL in the LARGER things. Have a wonderful day and always remember how dearly you are loved and that you are not alone!!

When you look at the world and SEE things that are happening around you what is your perspective or view?
Many are beginning to feel helpless and hopeless but there is a much better way to COPE. 

 If we will only take a look at it through God’s EYES and HIS PERSPECTIVE.

This is a TIME that he wants to see His believers RETURN to Him and give up the ways of the world. The world’s way says we are in the 21 Century so we need to adapt to the changes. The truth is God’s WORD will never lead you down the wrong path and His WORD never changes. It is the same yesterday, today and forever.

He is wanting to save as many people as possible and living the life He died to give you. Maybe you are reading this and you never grew up even knowing who God was. Perhaps you were hurt many years ago from a church and you gave up your faith because of people. If you left the church because of people then you may have been there for all the wrong reasons. God is the only one we are to answer to and He tells us that we are to be like him. Sharing His love to a hurting world through our actions, words and how we treat each other.

Friends, when you place your trust in Jesus your life begins to CHANGE in ways you could never IMAGINE. You begin to READ His WORD and you SEE things so differently. You have greater HOPE and begin to BELIEVE something wonderful is about to happen.

God teaches us these words to help us to stay on the narrow path that leads to LIFE!!
“But don’t just listen to God’s Word. You do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.” James 1:22

Today and every day let’s OPEN our eyes each new day looking through the LENS of God’s WORD and watch your TRUST, FAITH and JOY all increase. Have a beautiful day and always remember how dearly you are loved.

In a world that is suffering right now and so many people are feeling LOST and ALONE, what can we do as Christians to help?

Jesus taught us that we are to be a LIGHT to the world so that people would KNOW how much they are LOVED and they are NOT ALONE. Far too many individuals are hurting because they don’t feel WORTHY of LOVE. 

Perhaps some things happen long ago in their life that has a deep ROOT of the PAIN that has made them feel this way. But the TRUTH will set them FREE when they BEGIN to LEARN how much they are VALUED, that they are SPECIAL, UNIQUE and ONE of a KIND. They are CHOSEN and handcrafted by God with special GIFTS and a DIVINE CALLING.

Friends, REST in our SOULS equals PEACE in our MIND, WILL and EMOTIONS which can only come from GOD. His peace is like no other and cannot be given by this world.

Our CONNECTION with others should always leave them feeling WORTHY of God’s LOVE and ENCOURAGE them of their qualities and Character strengths. One thing is true when you sit with Jesus, You will always know you are SPECIAL and WHO you really are. You will never question His love for you because you WILL KNOW YOU ARE WORTHY!!!

HEARTS that are HUNGRY will always be given HEALING whether it be physically, emotionally, mentally or Spiritually. When God is invited into your life and your problems you will never question WHO YOU ARE. 

When you have God, you have everything you need.

After He gathered his own flock, he walked ahead of them, and they followed Him because they knew His voice. John 10:4

Do you ever wonder why people feel lonely? There are people who would appear to have everything they need or could ever want but still have loneliness in their life. They have acquired great success or more abundance but still seem to be lacking something of true value,CONTENTMENT. For some, it may be they don’t feel they have a CONNECTION to a meaningful RELATIONSHIP in their LIFE.

Friends are meant to help one another to meet each other’s needs, to be a COMFORT so that they feel PROTECTED and LOVED. One thing that is so true that many people wouldn’t feel so alone if they came to know JESUS in an INTIMATE and PERSONAL WAY. The WORD says,

A believer is truly never alone because Jesus’ Spirit is always with us. Matthew 28:20

When we see a world that is struggling and LOST we can try to SHARE a way to help them feel better but without sharing the NEWS of JESUS they will never truly understand how VALUABLE they really are. God LOVES us and our IDENTITY changes when we know HIM PERSONALLY. We SEE ourselves as Jesus sees us. That we are worthy of HIS love, that we are SPECIAL and ONE of a kind. Too many people LISTEN to the lies of the enemy while he takes them off course believing they are not worthy to be loved. He keeps them held in bondage by shame, guilt and condemnation.

But Jesus wants so much more for His children. He wants to GIVE you the life you will truly LOVE and be truly happy while living out your PURPOSE. All you need to do is RECEIVE this free GIFT.
Friends sometimes the TRUTH is PAINFUL but God’s WORD says; 

The world’s sin is that it refuses to believe in Me.      John 16:9

Could it really be that simple? To build a relationship with someone who really LOVES YOU? Those who ASK, SEEK and keep KNOCKING will find the ONLY one who can make your whole life COMPLETE!!

Have you ever had a TIME in your LIFE where you felt like giving up? Perhaps in your mind, these are the words you are hearing; “What is the point of it all? Why am I even here?
Many people will begin to ask this QUESTION when their HEARTS are READY to find their PURPOSE for greater meaning for their LIFE. They WILL start to think about how they want to use their TIME, RESOURCES or the GIFTS they are blessed with.

 Everything is given for a REASON and a SEASON.

Maybe today as you read this you don’t believe anything can change in your life because you have tried to do this on your own. But what happens when we INVITE Jesus into the problem?

The truth is it is IMPOSSIBLE to do many things on our own because we truly don’t have the capability to make real LASTING change. Things may seem to get better for a short period of time but then we FALL back into the same old habits or paths. We may be able to change a few things such as our CHOICES that will lead us onto a better pathway and that’s what we should be trying to do. If you do what you can do, God will do what you cannot do.

For nothing is impossible with God. Luke 1:37

When you invite God into your problems he begins to go to work on your behalf, sometimes showing you the things you need to CHANGE. Sometimes He will direct you to someone who can help you along the way leading you to SEE Him moving in your LIFE.

The word IMPOSSIBLE has the word POSSIBLE in it for a reason. To know that you can be DELIVERED to a greater HOPE. To SEE that it really is POSSIBLE to have good things start to happen in your life.

So if you need to FORGIVE someone - know that it is possible with God, He will give you the ability to do it.

If you want to change your DIRECTION and receive HEALING in your life - Know that it is possible with God because He wants only great things for your life.

If you’re having health struggles - Know that Healing is possible with God. He will guide you and teach you how to COPE moving FORWARD.

If you want to create healthier relationships in your life- Know that it is possible with God and He will send ENCOURAGING people into your life.

Friends we all have a small shape hole in our HEARTS that only God can fill. He is the only one who COMPLETES us, being truly filled and making us whole.

I pray that from the glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you TRUST in Him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong and may you have the power to understand as All God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made COMPLETE with the FULLNESS of life and power that comes from God. Now all the Glory to God who is able, through His Mighty Power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all the generations forever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3:16-21

Blessings.  Today being Valentine’s Day I wondered how many of us have ever looked at it from God’s perspective.


Have you ever had a TIME in your LIFE when you LOST something you LOVED dearly?  Maybe some parents reading this today can totally relate to the fear and panic that settles in when you have a child who has goes missing.  Perhaps when your children were young you had an experience when they got away from you in a department store?  Maybe today you are waiting PATIENTLY to hear from a grown child wondering if they are okay?


When we lose someone we will stop at nothing to FIND them.  It becomes our only PURPOSE in LIFE. Do remember that feeling of celebration when you found them or could you imagine that feeling of JOY that comes when you know they are okay?  “We had to celebrate this happy day.  For your brother was dead and has come back to life.  He was lost, but now he is found!”  Luke 15:32.   We are those children in God’s Eyes, He is longing to find you or have you come back to Him. 


If you have been feeling a small tap on your shoulder lately don’t turn your back on Him. He just wants you to have a life you WILL LOVE that He died to give you.  So this Valentine’s day will you RECEIVE the greatest GIFT of all from the Lamb,  Jesus? 


 We know what the Bible says about Love and it’s not a one-day event but an everyday PROMISE.  These THREE things will last forever- FAITH, HOPE and LOVE- and the greatest of these is LOVE.   1 Corinthians 13:13

There was a powerful quote shared on Social Media “We are living in a time where satan doesn’t even hide anymore, and the world still can’t see him.
In this day and age we are in, are there any excuses not to get into the WORD of God? Maybe you can relate that there just aren’t enough hours in the day to read my Bible, pray or just sit quietly for even 10 minutes a day.
In truth, God is BLESSING us with the gift of TIME for a REASON in this SEASON. To bring us back to HIM. So can we really say we have no time while we are in a worldwide lock-down? The truth is whatever is important to you, you will always find the time to do it. So are you willing to sacrifice or fast from Social media or TV and give Jesus this PRECIOUS TIME?
Many people cannot see what is happening right around them because they are not connected to the POWER SOURCE so they cannot truly SEE. A lamp can’t give off its light unless it’s plugged into the Source. We are the same as that lamp. We need Jesus so we can give off HIS LIGHT to others. Friends this is the greatest investment of your LIFE and for your family. What we learn, we share with others and God uses everything we do to open the EYES of the blind.
Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. Stand firm against him and be strong in your faith. Remember that your Christian brothers and sisters all over the world are going through the same kind of suffering you are. 1 Peter:8-9
So will you be like Mary and sit at Jesus’ feet to listen, to learn and to grow or will you be Martha running around too busy with life unable to really SEE or HEAR?

We all Harvest what we plant in our lives. 

 

Friends we have opportunities every day to make a difference in all we do. We will RECEIVE what we sow out.  So if you are sowing seeds of fear and doubt into your mind that is the experience you will have for a return HARVEST.  More torment and confusion.  If you, however, choose to sow SEEDS of LOVE and HOPE your return HARVEST will be more PEACE and JOY.

Friends, this past year has been more than challenging for all of us but if anything it truly is meant to WAKE US UP!! We know that there is FREEDOM when we know the TRUTH and PEACE always follow us when we do the RIGHT thing through OBEDIENCE.
